Lactation Consultation Pathway 2
Birthingway’s Lactation Consultation Program closed in 2019. Please reference this section of the website for historical purposes only.
All candidates for the IBLCE certification examination must meet minimum requirements in the following areas of study and experience:
Section A. Education in human lactation and breastfeeding
Section B. Clinical practice in providing care to breastfeeding families
Section C. Education in specified health science subjects

We offer both a Certificate and a Degree option to support Pathway 2 students.
Financial Aid
At this time, enrolled Lactation Consultation Pathway 2 Program students are not eligible for federal or state financial aid. However, you may be eligible for other sources of financial aid. Contact our Financial Aid Officer to learn more.
