As a postpartum doula, I “mother the mother” by offering emotional, physical, and informational support. I can help you transition into motherhood by listening to your story, answering your questions, and offering a helping hand with newborn care and household chores.

My path to becoming a doula started in 1996, when I moved to Portland and became a caregiver in the infant room of a daycare center. In 2008, I became a mother, and now have two beautiful daughters. Once out of the trenches of early motherhood, I wanted to help new mothers navigate this challenging time of life. I received a postpartum doula certification through Birthingway College of Midwifery. I have cared for children of all ages (as well as the elderly). I have experience with multiples and overnight shifts. I enjoy hiking, biking, reading, cooking and gardening.
