Dineen O’Rourke

Hi there! I’m Dineen (she/her) and I’m a Labor Doula student at Birthingway College of Midwifery. I come to birth work rooted in social and climate justice, having worked as a community organizer in local and national climate justice movements for nearly ten years. I am passionate about the power of human connection, empathy, and relationships in helping us build a better world and more just society. As a doula, I work to create a safe, non-judgemental, and empowering space to support you, your partner, and family throughout pregnancy and childbirth. My goal is to help you navigate your birth journey with respect, empathy, compassion, and evidence-based resources, while providing continuous emotional, physical, and informational support. I’m here to wholeheartedly believe in you and the power of your body, and support your decisions for your birth, no matter what they may be or how they may change throughout pregnancy. It is my honor to guide birthing people and families throughout the beautiful and challenging journey of childbirth, and I’d love to meet you and see if we’d be a good fit!
