Changes in Program

College structure, curriculum, policies including financial policies, and other aspects of the program are subject to change as approved by the Board of Directors.

Committees

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to support the Birthingway Community by participating in College committees that are concerned with everyday management of the College. These include but are not limited to:

  • Admissions – responsible for admission selection, oversight of admitting requirements and procedures.
  • Curriculum – Review and revise as necessary per all requirements.
  • Various Ad Hoc committees (Facilities, Hiring and Personnel, SER Committees)


Board committees on which students and faculty are also welcome include the following:

  • Board Development, Recruitment and Orientation
  • Finance
  • Resource Development

Personal and Professional Growth of School Community

In keeping with the programs "Purpose, Philosophy, and Objectives," and with other policies found in the Catalogue and Student Handbook, Birthingway College of Midwifery promotes and facilitates opportunities for personal and professional growth for students, staff, and faculty, through its organizational structure, operations, and policies.
