Tuition and fees for the Midwifery Programs include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

*Enrollment and Registration may be canceled by giving written notice to the college. Should a student decide to cancel enrollment or registration in writing within three business days of signing the Enrollment Agreement or the Course Registration form, all fees are refundable in full.
†As a newly enrolled student, if you withdraw after the three day cancellation period but prior to attending any classes, no more than $200 will be kept by Birthingway College of Midwifery.
Tuition and fees are subject to annual increases. Please anticipate a 7 to 10% increase each year.
Cost of Attendance
The cost to attend Birthingway is different for each successive year. The costs below reflect the 2007-08 school year and are calculated based on our recommended course sequence, and may not reflect your actual costs of attendance.

The cost to live in the Portland area is an estimated amount used to calculate eligibility for financial aid, which is approximately $7,003 for room/board, $2,594 for transportation, and $3,772 for personal expenses per academic year. Individual student costs will vary depending on lifestyle choices and personal living arrangements.
Other Costs
Miscellaneous costs like copying, computer print-outs, CPR certification, etc. will also need to be paid by the student. All core students are expected to take a turn in providing lunch for their entire class, approximately once every eight weeks. Cost varies according to the lunch prepared; students should anticipate an average cost of $20-$30 each time they provide a lunch.
